Throttle Quadrant Base
Description
This object was made in Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/eAWM4daywy4 I am new to both Thingiverse and TinkerCad so creating this project to share has even been a little challenging, so be kind if I have something missing or not quite right With the new MS Flight sim coming out I wanted a multi levered quadrant and decided to design and build one myself. I got my first 3D printer a Creality Ender 3 Pro in April of this year (2020) and this is my first attempt of designing a project that I think turned out pretty well for a noob. Because the lever sections are additive, you can print and assemble 1 or 6 sections. Limited to 6 on the joystick controller. Knobs can be changed out easily depending on flight configuration. Outside of PLA and time, I spent about $40 on the Leo Bodnar controller and have a full 6 axis throttle quadrant! Not an advanced TQ, but adds alot more than pushing buttons or setting a single lever to control multiple engines. Thinking of possibly creating optional sections to function as Flaps or Gear Lever. Update: Added a couple mods to print a solid 3 lever section or a full 6 rather than singularly printing and assembling if going for the 3 or 6 lever version.
