D-Bot Bondtech BMG Carriage for E3D Volcano (3 Wheeled Variant)

D-Bot Bondtech BMG Carriage for E3D Volcano (3 Wheeled Variant)

Description

I wasn't happy with my original BondTech carriage design. While overall it did seem to work it was hard to get all 4 wheels lined up and tensioned well enough to my liking. Previously I ended up replacing my H-Bar Ends / Guides with these: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1930200 for the same reason. It worked as well as I'd hoped so I decided to modify my carriage to use a similar design that seems to work as expected in my tests. I moved extruder mount to the left about 6.2mm but the Nozzle/Probe offset should be the same as those parts were moved in tandem: X: +30.9 Y: +31.6 --------- I added a cutout and filet to the bottom of the of the mount so the BLTouch has move room to be adjusted upwards should anyone need that. I also adjusted the cable mount slightly to lower the hole where the 3MM nylon filament cant be inserted. Finally I corrected some issues with the internal geometry of the fan duct as mentioned by StasBronja: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4540882 It should be noted that since everything had to be moved over, none of these parts except the cable holder and BLTouch Mount (it is unchanged) are backwards compatible with my previous carriage design. ----- Side note: I highly recommend using these spacers for the V-Wheels: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1766015 The original design pressed against the bearing walls making it hard for my wheels to turn at even moderate levels of tension. These are much better.
