camo invisible fastening

camo invisible fastening

Description

I bought camo kit, but it was not the good one for the wood size we had. (4 1/2 inch) So I decided to 3d print it. But had an other (even better) idea: making it able to fit 2 planks so that it alignes the boards automatically on the last installed one. It worked pretty well. warning: 3d printed makes it fragile. You might need to print several of them. witch one to print? camo 138 is designed to fit on a 5/4x6 that is generally a little bit smaller than 5 1/2... You may have to scale it a little. I suggest to print it and stop the print after several layers. Try it on one board and if it fits. Reprint it and let the print go untill the end. camo 115 is designed to fit on a 5/4x5 that is 4 1/2 inch wide. camo 1 Is for any other planks wideness. You print 3 of them and screw it into a plank of wood. It's faster to print and more easy to remplace when one teeth is broken. It's also more suitable for small 3d printers. (you might look carefully in the video to see it, I have no picture of it) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVDxLl_Vr5A
