glow-in-the-dark moon lamp
Description
This is a lampshade (20cm / 7.9 inch diameter) with the actual (if exaggerated) topography of the moon. I printed it with blue glow-in-the-dark material so it shines even when the lights are off. The differences to the original moon lamp by 'moononournation' are: - larger 20 cm diameter - the inner surface is spherical, the outer suface has the moon topography, this means the wall-thickness will vary with topography and thus will be more visible than in the original moon-lamp - you can print it in one go without skirt or support material - the cone in the bottom is the print-support and should be cut off after printing - there is a hole which is just big enough for ordinary lightbulbs below the cone so you can turn the lampshade upside-down after printing, push the lightbulb through the hole and attach it to the lamp-cable with a wire. Slic3r print settings: layer height: 0.2 mm adaptive slicing: on with 80% adaptive quality perimeters: 3 solid layers: 2 top, 0 bottom extra perimeters if needed: on avoid crossing perimeters: on detect thin walls: on detect bridging perimeters: on external perimeters first: off fill density: 30% fill pattern: 3D Honeycomb only retract when crossing perimeters: on infill before perimeters: on extruder temperature: 220°C bed temperature: 70°C on first layer, else bed heating off (horizontal resolution: 0.2 mm) material: Amolen, PLA, glow-in-the-dark blue, 1.75 mm
