Mag-tor Nerf Kriss Vector Remix
Description
This is a remix of MHP's Kriss Vector with a more tactical feel in mind. I wanted something with a more aggressive and ergonomic feel. In addition to the standard hardware, you will need some M3x10 screws, as well as some M3 threaded heat inserts. The shown metal body pins are optional. Some major changes are as follows: -Splitting the larger top shell to allow printing on a smaller print bed. Halves can be joined either with SA glue, or by welding together with a soldering iron and a strand of filament. Either way works and results in a fairly strong part. The top rail has also been split appropriately and requires an extra two screws. -Two stage trigger has been converted to a separate rev trigger. I find it's easiest to wire in your switch with a wee bit of extra wire length and whatever doesn't get used can either be trimmed out or tucked down into the handle. -Main lower shell has had M3 heat inserts added to the sides for allowing the attachment of rails and/or rail accessories. Included are standalone short side rail segments as well as the extended rails for the muzzle brake attachment. The two-stage mounting sites internally have been removed. This may result in a saggier main trigger pull, but if you adjust the length of travel, you should be fine. -I have made a no-stock sling loop option if you do not want a stock. It simply screws in and locks in like the original stock. -I have made a quick single-stage cage if you're wanting to try for lower FPS. It works and it fits just fine, however I found it a bit inconsistent and underpowered for regular play. -I have also made a mag-flipper to be used with your trigger finger for easier reloads. It replaces the standard catch and attaches on the right side in existing screw ports. It functions off the internal spring and does not need any additional springs. If you want to remove it, just unscrew it from the lower shell and mag catch and therefore your blaster is back to the original push button only. May require some minor sanding and testing to function properly. I have also included an extended mag release button if that's something you'd like as well. -The muzzle brake is designed to be fit onto the main blaster via two side rail connections. There is plenty of ID to allow darts to fly freely, and rail extensions on all four sides allows for tons of room for accessories. -The Fore-grip is designed to work exclusively with the muzzle brake attachment. The grip inserts attach with standard Nerf-hobby motor screws. The added flared magwell piece friction-fits in with pins, but can be glued on to either side as well to preference. It may need some sanding to allow gravity mag drops, but that is also to taste. ----------------- Any questions or issues, feel free to let me know! *Please note all rail coverings, iron sights, and mock PEQ are not included.*
