neodymium nucleus

neodymium nucleus

Description

The element called neodymium is used in iron magnets. This model is at a scale of 20 trillion X. The atomic nucleus of Nd has two rings of protons in white. The neutrons are shown in blue. This has a shape like iron and gadolinium: two coaxial rings of protons are obvious. The iron has a proton on the axis, but neodymium has no proton on the axis. The photograph of Nd has all blue neutrons near the axis of the nucleus. One photo shows Nd in a Periodic Table. That has red circles for protons and neutrons in a simple cubic lattice. The black circles are protons and neutrons that armor the faces of the cube. The lattice is called the "face armored cubic". One other photo shows the Nd nucleus exploded into its cube and six pyramids. This theory of nuclear structure is not approved by educators. See pyramidalcube.blogspot.com for charge distribution of many elements.
