HiFiBerry DAC+ Zero Pi Zero W Case
Description
Case for a Pi Zero W with a Hifiberry Dac+ Zero, as well as an option for a soldered on 3.5mm audio jack on the Dac+ Zero (see pictures-white one has jack). I included a version that uses M3 2-3mm screws to hold down the pi, but note these are a very tight fit in the holes of the pi itself. ***Go slowly to avoid cracking the Pi***. The holes in the STL are 2.8mm. This is designed to fit a **Pi Zero w 1.3**, which requires a millimeter or so of extra space for the camera connector. **It will also fit previous versions** without the camera connector. **NOTE:** Take the SD card out when installing/removing the Pi. Once the Pi is in the case, it is very difficult to remove with the DAC attached because the USB port gets stuck. I may change this in a future version (let me know if you want the change!) Also-this case is a really really tight fit. I still need to modify the 3.5mm jack model because, as you can see from the picture, it cracked upon install. --- ###**What can I use this for?** I use it to host an airplay and Spotify connect server via [Musicbox](https://www.pimusicbox.com/) It works great for Spotify, but Musicbox is not updated to the most recent version of shairport-sync and encounters stuttering when streaming via Airplay. This could be fixed by manually configuring [shairport-sync](https://github.com/mikebrady/shairport-sync) on raspbian lite, but I've had some difficulty getting the DAC+ Zero working due to my only general knowledge of the Linux terminal. If I get it working I'll provide a configuration file and some instructions here. --- ###**Why I made this Thing** Another user made a similar case, but I felt it was too large and wasted some space. This one fits inside it with room to spare! I have provided a link to it in the remixes, as I used it to locate the RCA jacks, which I tightened the tolerances on-**this may affect certain RCA plug types**. This is designed to use as little space as possible. ---
