MQB Strut Tower Center Enlarger Jig Thing (2in/2.5in Hole)
Description
For those that want to use Superpro or 034 camber plates with their MQB vehicles and retain the ability to tighten/loosen their strut nut with the strut aldready installed in their vehicles - should work across the entire MQB VAG range. Looks sorta better than hacking off your entire strut tower with a cutoff wheel. I've also included a 2.5in version for plates with caster adjustment like Whiteline, Vorshlag, etc. Note that you most likely still need to take the strut down to change caster since some of the adjustment screws remain covered, but at least you can retighten the nut - a common issue for all MQB cars. I used a 2in OD Lenox holesaw, but in general, any good HSS metal holesaw will work. Use lots of lube (Rapid Tap for me) and go slowly, you don't need a lot of downward pressure.
