Feet for Bosch GSR120-Li Cordless Drill - Also with Magnets! (Multiple Variants)
Description
The Bosch GSR120-Li Cordless Drill I bought comes with 12V 1.5Ah batteries that don't have the wider like the more expensive, high charge variants of the drill sold. So I decided to make one. I also added slots for old hard drive magnets at the top and bottom so i can stick bits and tools to it and also stick the drill to a bunch of surfaces. Usually makes me more efficient. The round magnet variant has 5 magnet slots on the top only; 3 of which would accept 15x3mm magnets or smaller and 2 will accept 10x3mm magnets or smaller. I used 2 part epoxy to stick the magnets in and then sanded everything flat before giving it a coat of paint. Use a very thin 3M VHB tape to stick the battery to the foot or if you are okay with it use epoxy. Otherwise it is hard press fit and wont come off. Keep in mind that because it is designed to stay on the drill securely, the Bosch sticker on the battery might see some wear as you push it in. If you are facing issues with fit, you can try scaling the whole model up or down by 1 percent and that should do the trick. The name of the files are pretty self explanatory. The settings I have used to print the thing have worked well for me, cannot assure the same on your printer. Do your own test fits, send me a message if something is not working for you and I'll see if I can make changes. Would love to see your builds. Have a good day! Happy making!
