Aeronautica Imperialis Tiger Shark AX-1-0 Conversion Kit
Description
A conversion kit to turn your regular Aeronautica Imperialis Tiger Sharks (such as from starter set) into AX-1-0 with heavy weapon versions. For each Tiger Shark, you will need to print: 2x weapons 2x connector pieces 2x body components (you will need to mirror one of these, the other parts don't require mirroring) To assemble, make sure to SKIP steps 8 and 9 in the Tiger Shark assembly instructions booklet (don't glue in the weapons or missile bays). Glue your printed weapon, connector, and body pieces together, then slot into the areas where the normal weapon and missile bay components would go. They won't friction fit so you will need to glue or magnetise once you're sure they are aligned properly. The Heavy Rail hasn't worked particularly well on my FDM printer, particularly the interior gap detail. You may have more luck with something more dialed in or with a resin printer. The Heavy Plasma worked well with FDM once I removed the venting fins from the underside. I've attached the finned versions in case you have more luck.
