Creality Ender 3 Single Blower & BL Touch - DD Friendly! Directed and Reinforced
Description
This is a remix of a cooler I really l like the design of that I decided to alter for use on the Ender 3. For those that don't know, the Ender 3 and CR10 both have slightly different hotends. Printing the original for an Ender 3 usually melts the plastic in my experience, so I tightened down the angle of the blower, lowered and spun it a bit so it's still aimed at the tip of the nozzle, but away from the hotend block enough so it won't melt.... as much. Also added a reinforced bar behind the hotend cooler to add stability. There's a distance from the hotend cooler a bit so airflow can still get around. The top of the print has also been lowered so it has better compatibility with Direct-Drive mods. This uses files and the bltouch mount from: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3910281 Pick your pieces from there and just use this as the main mount. Hotend Fan mount is on his page as well. This is a work in progress. Testing and testing and testing. If there's anything you find better about something you've tried with it, just comment and let me know. Use PETG if you're that paranoid. I don't have design files on this. I just took the original STL into Blender and modified it directly.
