Minimal Arduino Useless Machine with Attitude

Minimal Arduino Useless Machine with Attitude

Description

I wanted to make a useless machine, but without so much printing as a useless box. So I set out to design one myself in SolidWorks and see how simple the design can be. My total print time was under 30 minutes. There are 2 versions of code, basic and with attitude. Code can be found attached here or on github: [Basic](https://github.com/braclark/Arduino/blob/master/Useless_Arduino.ino) or [with attitude](https://github.com/braclark/Arduino/blob/master/Useless_Attitude.ino). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbF8ANHkJv4 Parts Used ---------------- * Digispark attiny85 clone board * Generic SG90 servo * 22uF capacitor in parallel to the servo power lines. Without it, the arduino may reset for movements over 3 steps/10ms. Larger value caps may work better, but that was all I had. * C&K 7108 (not sure of the whole part number), but I'm pretty sure there are a lot of generic SPDT switches that will fit in here * Pem IUB-440-2 tapered heat staking inserts, 4-40. You can get them as [McMaster 93365A122](https://www.mcmaster.com/93365a122) * 2x Flat head machine screws 4-40 x .25 to attach the arduino * 2x Pan head machine screws 4-40 x .25 to attach the servo
