Tevo Tarantula Pro 40mm fan conversion
Description
Everyone knows how loud the 30mm heat break fan on your Tarantula Pro is, so I wanted to upgrade to a Noctua fan, but the smallest they make is a 40x10. So, I managed to find a Chimera adapter bracket (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4320084) and modify it for the Pro's setup to still be able to mount 4 screws for both the Noctua fan and original fan bolts, plus the additional 2 up top. The adapter bracket should be printed with a brim for the thinner part to keep it from coming loose, also why I added the ever so thin base. It is trimmed a bit because of the direct drive conversion (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4032362) brackets already in place on my setup, as well as to clear the stock mounting bracket, and their combined thickness. As for the fan carrier, it is essentially a lengthened stock carrier and I just made room for the anti turbulence funnel (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3759064). I chose the carrier (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3838052) without the Tevo logo backfield because I plan to put in some LEDs to illuminate the nozzle area in the future and it has better aesthetics. I do plan to redesign the carrier a bit with more support for the longer overhangs of the slot fans and some reinforcement at the shroud mount surface to combine with the sides.
