This Is An Insert For A Muffler That I Put On My Honda. I Didn'T Realize When I Bought The Muffler How Deep The Tones Would Be Due To The Size Of The In/Out. This Presses Inside Of A 2" Id Muffler Pipe And Gives Me Some Extra Back Pressure While Reducing Noise. Because Of The Other Exhaust Changes I'Ve Made, This Makes The Car Run Almost As If It Were Stock, But It Saved Me Almost 200 Dollars For The 'Oem' Muffler / Exhaust Setup. It Also Ensures The Exhaust Exits The Back Of The Car, So I Don'T Get Any In The Cab As Well As Shooting Far Enough To Clear The Garage Door (Just A Foot Or Two) So It Doesn'T Fill Up The Garage When The Car Is Warming Up. I Did Some Looking And My Own Crude Tests And It Seems That The Car Doesn'T Get Hot Enough At The Exhaust Tip To Cause The Abs To Melt. However I Haven'T Tried This In The Summer Yet, As Its Winter Where I'M At. This Car Isn'T Worth Much Money So Thus Why I Was Trying To Rig Something Up. Sadly The First Version I Tried Of This Printed Very Well, However I Didn'T Secure It With Any Kind Of Screws In The Tailpipe (Pressure Fit Only) And It Happened To Pop Out While Driving.
