Bose QC3 Bluetooth Adapter

Bose QC3 Bluetooth Adapter

Description

The Bose QC3 are super headphones, however, they're wired. I wanted to adapt my QC3s to allow bluetooth connectivity and remove the wire. Thus I created the design below. I appreciate it's pretty niche as these headphones are a couple of years old now, but perhaps someone will find it useful. ## Parts This design comprises of 3 components: - MPOW holder - Headphone attachment - Clip ## Extra bits To implement this with your headphones, you'll need to purchase the following: - Headphone cable (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01DMCN20C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) - You will need to doctor this to a shorter length by cutting and soldering as can be seen in the photos. - MPOW Bluetooth receiver (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00KON1JIA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) ## Printing tips Ensure to print the MPOW holder horizontally as it helps with the strength of the long clip to hold the adapter in place. I printed all three pieces at nominal 0.16mm with adaptive layering option in Cura. You will need support for the MPOW holder.
