FpvCycle Glide5 DJI Conversion
Description
This is my take at fitting the DJI Air_Unit inside the Glide5. 396g dry weight. While all designs are my own. They have been heavily inspired by other designs on thingiverse, mostly the design by Thepolishcamera. The camera mounts are his not mine. They were found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4543263 All my Fusion360 files are included. To make this work you need 25mm standoffs. I'm using iFlight standoffs wich have reduced waist. The parts are made to fit them. You will probably need to modify the bores for the standoffs if you use plain standoffs. The r9 T-antenna mount must be mirrored during printing to get the left mount. You also need two 90degree mmcx to SMA pigtails. I'm using a full size 4in1 ESC, but had to turn it 180 degrees to make it fit heightwise. Hence why the battery lead is to the front. In hindsight It would probably be better to mount the ESC at 90 degrees to get the battery leads centered on one side. Alternatively, a 20X20 ESC could be used instead. All parts in Sainsmart TPU on My Ender 3 with Micro Swiss hotend they come out perfect @ 215/55c. The capacitor/RX holder in PETG @260/60c. PLA should work too, but is less heat tolerant..
