V-Lock battery plate for 30mm rod (Mōvi gimbal, etc)
Description
A battery plate that lets you mount a V-Lock battery onto a 30mm pipe such as the side of a Mōvi gimbal or similar. Has a locking mechanism that keeps the battery from coming loose, and a channel for a zip tie to go around the 30mm rod for added security. Two parts, one STL file, oriented for best results. The large part should be printed upright with supports and low resolution is fine, but for extra strength, print with no part cooling fan. The small part should be printed with the flat side down, ideally with a higher resolution (0.12 worked great) and 4-7 walls. Supports are only needed for the big channel into which the smaller part will go. They're a bit annoying to remove, use needle nose pliers. Don't print supports elsewhere! Requires one ~12mm long small screw of about 1.5-2mm diameter to secure the two parts together. I printed this in PET-G, which is what I'd recommend. PLA will deform quickly under load.
