Yet Another Document camera
Description
Yes, yet another document camera for teaching from home. I designed this for an ELP USB Camera I found on Amazon. The camera connects to the mount with a standard 1/4-20 screw. I needed some way to elevate it and happened to find a cross-stitch/embroidery frame my wife had laying around. You could make something similar from dowels and small sticks. The crossbar fits the 27mm wide x 19 mm high side piece of the frame. The frame is attached to the desk with C clamps. Edit: I added a crossbar that will fit a standard "1x2" board. Which is really .75" x 1.5". I made both a fixed and a hinged version. You can also mount the camera mount 90-degrees to point across the room at a calendar or wall chart.
