Balancer adapters for Inspire 1 1345T propellers
Description
These balancer adapters are designed for the Du-Bro propeller balancer with the 6mm shaft. They should work fine for any similar balancer, or even edge-of-table balancing, as long as you are using a shaft with a 6mm diameter and threaded end(s). These are a snug fit, so that they will be properly centered - if they are even a tiny bit off-center, your prop will not balance and you may may any mis-balance significantly worse. I recommend testing as follows: Check balance, then take the adapter out of the prop, rotate it 180 degrees and re-insert it. If the balance is the same, and the fit is snug, you're probably good to go. It is critical that you push the adapter into the prop far enough that it is fully seated so that the balancer shaft is perpendicular to the propeller. Start by setting the prop so it is horizontal. ----+---- In an out of balance prop, one blade or the other will slowly drop. It might not set the propeller vertical, but will probably settle at an angle. \ If this happens, rotate the prop so it is horizontal again, but 180 degrees from the position you started with. ----+---- If it's out of balance, it should tip down to about the same angle but on the other side. / Note - the angles shown by / and \ are just to indicate that the prop isn't necessarily vertical. If the prop goes to the same angle you may not have properly seated the adapter into the propeller. \ If so, try pressing the adapter in again. You can leave the adapters on the shaft between uses. If there are any requests, I will post photos or video to show the process.
