SNAP-ON BK series inspection camera clasp

PLEASE READ (please consider leaving a small donation at paypal.me/craft3duk if you found this item useful) Here is our clasp for hands free operation of the snap-on BK6500 series inspection cameras. The camera simply fits snugly into the clasp and is supported by an adjustable length strap around the neck (User supplied) to free up the one hand that would normally be used to hold the screen for other tasks All measurements were taken from a Snap-on BK5600 and should fit both the BK6500 and BK8500 side mounted and detachable camera types. This has been trailed and tested in a workshop environment and as such, the design has been tweaked slightly to bring a slightly more robust V2 with re-enforced lower arms and bevelled edging for comfort Both V1 and V2 are included in the download. It is highly recommended that you print in a more hard wearing material than PLA if you plan to use this in a professional environment. PETG or ABS work well for this application. Print settings will vary depending on your machine, but it is designed to be printed with the base section flat against your print surface and is highly recommended you use 100% infill Strap material can be readily sourced from an old camera or similar.
