Jar Funnel-Jar Filler narrower outlet

Description

Jar Filler Funnel Summary: I have seen many jar filler funnels, but I prefer the wide bowl shape of my stainless steel Jar Filler so I designed one like it with a slightly smaller diameter spout to fit jar openings down to 46mm in diameter. (a standard canning jar opening is 60.5mm). The upper diameter of the funnel is 129mm with a generous bowl shape to receive ingredients without splashing out. I use many jars with slightly smaller openings for herbs, homemade peanut butter, leftover sauces, etc. It is frustrating that my SS jar filler won’t fit them. Since I have never seen a bowl funnel like this with the smaller spout, I designed one to match my big one. I printed in PETG Transparent. The transparent needs a bit more flow and heat for a nice finish. Designed in Fusion 360. Handle revised after I printed the first one. MATERIAL: Overture PETG 3D Transparent Filament (Amazon) HEAT SETTINGS: Nozzle 250’C, Bed 80’C initial layer. Lower after that. FLOW RATE: 115% ORIENTATION: I printed the funnel standing upright (small spout resting on print bed). This allows all support to be on the outside, eliminating any roughness inside. It does require more support for the handle, but the smooth interior is most important to me. IF you decide to print upside down (wide opinions on print bed), you will still need support. It will collapse at the lower part of the bowl without support. BED ADHESION: skirt LAYER HEIGHT: .12, Initial layer height .3 to give a good bed adhesion and a solid ring at the spout. I set the Z seam alignment to random to avoid the heavy seam appearance. SUPPORT: Touching build plate, Overhang angle to support: 53’ Support structure: Lines (Keep them far apart for easier removal (8mm apart in the xy direction). Support Density: 10%
