Naked GoPro Modular Mount (MMM)
Description
This started off specifically as a Naked GoPro mount for the Flywoo Explorer 4". I looked around and didn't like any of the existing options. They were either too heavy, too hard to print, or not generic enough to fit multiple mini-quads. So I thought about it and was like "What if I split the frame base from the camera sled?". With a bit of trial and error I came up with this. It's a two-part mount using a horizontal dovetail with two small slots to let you run zip ties through. This way it keeps the prints simple(print on side for camera pieces no supports). I chose to fix the angles(there are 10/20/30) again to keep things as simple and light as possible, no goofy screws or wacky 3-prong horror-show tension things to slip mid flight. Some models include models labelled (TPU), this is because I am using OBC (Olefin-Block-Co-Polymer) on my personal 3" birds and the expansion properties between TPU and OBC can sometimes require different amounts of play.
