DIY UV Resin Curing Station
Description
I recently added a resin printer to compliment my Ender 3 Pro FDM. I created this UV curing station to support the new device. This is designed to print on the bed of an Ender 3/3Pro, and assemble without tools or screws. Lights fit flush and tight using only pressure mounts. The design is flexible and can be assembled in several configurations. The one shown uses two Sovol UV curing lamps (which is likely overkill). But I also included STL files so you could have a single lamp, either mounted on the back or on the top. I suppose you could even set it up for no lamps, if you so desired. I opted for a solar powered turntable, but the back includes a small cutout to allow for a USB powered turntable power cord if you prefer. If you decide to mount the lamp on the top, the top piece can either be printed as one piece requiring support, or as a top and light frame separately without support (STL files provided for both options). It's a simple matter to glue the frame to the top. I lined the inside with a reflective Mylar silver tape. Not sure this is really necessary, but I like the way it turned out, and I have to think it's helping amplify the UV light around the enclosure. I elected to print the door and top frame in a metallic silver, just to give it some aesthetic pop. And I added a little green paint to the Cthulhu image on the door. Your mileage may vary. =) Please post your makes!
