Ice Scraper with OpenSCAD and FreeCAD files included.
Description
This is an ice scraper, designed for removing snow and ice from windshields (windscreens) in the winter. It is based upon a design I got here at Thingiverse, as an OpenSCAD file. It was a great design, and I printed many of them. The were variously branded with our local radio station, several businesses and non-profits. But that OpenSCAD file was based on the CSG format (I think) and was not parametrically modifiable.( I was augmenting the strength of that ice scraper by increasing its Z in the slicer.) But the nice thing about the OpenSCAD file was that the text was modifiable. I remade the general form of the ice scraper in FreeCAD, and added a more developed second, more serious blade on the other side. I think they both will come in handy at times. So that gives the data set for the defined points which appear in the OpenSCAD .scad file as module scraper(). I modify the text in OpenSCAD and also create the STL from there. That seems to work pretty well, for me, anyway. I'm including the FreeCAD, in case anyone is curious about that.
