TwistPad Replacement Knob

TwistPad Replacement Knob

Description

We mislaid our Twistpad 00614176 (of our Neff stove top). We didn't know how to cook without it! (It took us quite a while to find out that the instructions provided a workaround.) A day later we found it again (in the freezer!). But now I wanted to be prepared for the next time! With the original Twistpad and a little magnet you can easily feel yourself that there are seven magnetic poles. One in the center, and six in a radial distance of about 13 mm. After a few experiments I found that the center magnet needs to be quite strong. Here I used a neodym magnet. For the other six magnets I borrowed a few from our childrens toy box. I also used a 5 mm screw, nut and washer to keep everything in place during assembly. (optional.) The original Twistpad has a lid that is connected to the top pole. But since I can't replace that with a 3D-printer I use another magnet that serves as hot plate selector. See the clip for usage and assembly: https://youtu.be/LXhXkyxO1Kg Assembly All magnets are oriented in such a way that they can be pulled towards the center magnet on the stove. But the magnet used as "hot plate selector" must be turned upside down, or it wont work.
