Kotto - 3M adapter [READ ME]

Description

I know the whole thing I created may sound overkill for a lot of people, but this is meant for people like me that want their Photon inside their house, with close to no odors. And, if possible the less exposure to fumes from resins as possible. I created those parts to complete my modding done on my Anycubic Photon. I started by getting rid of the terrible sound the fans were making in the Photon by designing the part you can find here : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4608818 But let's talk about the Kotto suction unit first. You can find it on amazon right here : https://tinyurl.com/y44qxgou This suction unit is known for removing odor from fumes such as welding hand piece. Since we are using resins, I figured the odor alone is not the only concern here, and I tried the Kotto alone with its charcoal filter, well, the odor was still there. The second thing you will need is a 3M filter (I am NOT using a 3M filter because of designing issues I had, so this is just another brand... = Less expensive :D) You can find the filter I used right here : https://www.amazon.com/NASUM-Replaceable-Filters-Protective-Accessories/dp/B0868BHLMZ?ref_=ast_sto_dp To be honest, I bought the mask + filter bundle, because I used one of the rubber gasket that was on the mask : https://www.amazon.com/Reusable-NASUM-Painting-Polishing-Protection/dp/B08661RKNF?ref_=ast_sto_dp We are going to use kotto fume extractor and add a few parts to it ;) the first part will be the connector to the filter, once printed, add the rubber gasket from the mask and you can connect the filter to it. It should be "click" tight. (for a better fit, you can use sand paper on the top of the Kotto unit). The second part, once printed, should fit on the filter after some knifing on the edges. The insertion may be difficult depending on your printer. Use some sand paper on the edges of the filter and cut the excess from the skirt or the brim on the part and it should fit, TIGHT ! That is it, the Kotto side upgrade is done, the hose should fit nicely on the top part. for the Photon part, I just used this piece : https://www.thingiverse.com/download:7749754 from this post : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4195044 and for this inside part of the photon I used this part : https://cdn.thingiverse.com/assets/fe/d8/32/08/67/photon_fume_extractor_inside_thingiverse.stl from this post : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4263072 You are all set ! So now, for the way to use this, it is quite simple. I do not leave the suction unit ON for the whole printing process. I let the 3D printer print, without any suction. Meaning you won't have air coming in of out of the printing chamber. Once the printing is over, just head toward your printer, power on the Kotto. Let it run for 30 seconds (max speed should work). Then, open the chamber slowly. Leave the Kotto ON and remove your print. Throw your print in your favorite cleaner solution. Close the door, turn the Kotto OFF. You're done. Hope you'll like it the same way I do ;)
