The Fully 3D-Printed Helical Herringbone Gear Bearing Fidget Spinner
Description
This is your standard, three-lobed fidget spinner with a twist. Literally; the gears are helical and have a herringbone pattern to keep them in line with the outer rings. I was inspired by [emmett's gear bearing](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:53451), but mine is original and quite a bit smaller. The project grew from my desire to design a small, 3D-printable bearing that was reasonably effective. I found that the best way to demonstrate its effectiveness was to give it a higher mass moment of inertia by putting giving it some lobes. Thus, **The Fully 3D-Printed Helical Herringbone Gear Bearing Fidget Spinner**™ was born. I hear that it may be a bit large for most hands, but it suits mine just fine. If you would like a smaller variant, feel free to leave a comment requesting one, and I'll get to work on it ASAP. Printing it from the Prusa, it required no post-processing, and worked right off the build plate.
