OmniaDrop Ender 5 Plus faceplate
Description
Adapter plate to mount the [OmniaDrop by DropEffect](https://www.dropeffect.com/) to the stock ender 5 plus plate. Be sure to get the BL-Touch Mount when you order your OmniaDrop. The plate has two insets for M4 Nuts for mounting the OmniaDrop (I used self-locking nuts, but normal ones are probably OK too). Place them before assembling. They're tight fits (at least for my printer) so they stay in place. I used a small pipe wrench to fit them. Disassemble the X-Carriage, place the faceplate and reassemble using the bolts of the V-Slot wheels. Reverse the bolt of the bottom wheel (so all wheel bolts are mounted in the same direction). The bottom wheel has a spacer to adjust the tightness of the X-Carriage wheels. Make sure the wheels are not tight and not too loose. The right belt fastener needs to be cut flush with the metal clip to gain the needed clearance to the stepper motor, see picture 3. The two M3 mounts from the stock hotend can be used to add rigidity but these are not essential. I used M3x8 for them. To mount the OmniaDrop used two M4x16 screws. For the cable strain guide 100mm x 2,5mm cable ties can be used. To keep the Spool holder in the original place I used the stock extruder and the PTFE tube as a filament guide (picture 4). This way, the filament run-out sensor can still be used. Use only the baseplate and the PTFE fitting of the original extruder. As the extruder was fastened with the extruder motor, some M3 nuts are required. I used just two nuts/screws in diagonal order.
