Ender 3 Pro Pi 3a+ Enclosure Box

Ender 3 Pro Pi 3a+ Enclosure Box

Description

This is my personal take on an enclosure that would be adequate to house a Pi 3a+, a cheap buck converter and a 30mm fan to cool these two, down. The design includes vented areas behind the buck converter and angled vents on the top lid. Once screwed-down it sits flush to the 4040's surface :D Ideal place to snap it on (or slide it in), is the rear 4040 base rail (where the PSU is located) from the inner side (USB hole looking front, fan looking rear). OFC the modularity allows you to snap it in various places around the printer, I just think this location looks more stealthy and cleaner. Parts you will need: -A 53 x 21 x 13mm buck converter 53 x 21 x 13mm LM2596S buck converter (ofc you may use whatever you like, the design is around this proportions though) -A 30x30x7mm Pi Fan (there's available space for >7mm). I chose this one due to the straight connectivity to the Pi's pins. Also it seems to keep the temps low. -Μ3x20mm flathead countersunk head screws (4 of them for the lid of the enclosure). -M3x5mm screws (4 of them for the Pi). -A Pi 3a+ (obviously..) Body and Ring need supports, Lid can be printed without support (as long as you lay flat on the bigger side) I also made small mount for the switch I used to power up this whole thing individualy.
