Sidewinder X1 Ramhorn fan duct (5015) mp3d
Description
Here's my take on a fan duct for the sidewinder X1 using a 5015 fan. Needs one longer m3 screw and nut for mounting the fan and 2 short m3 screws to secure the mount to the carriage, prints in place with no supports :) Prints overhangs great in all directions, uploaded some tests to show this along with the water depression test. Try and get the flat base of the fan as close to the bed as possible for best airflow on the nozzle, but not too low that it touches. I printed mine in .16 layer height as the curved arms come out better with a lower height, but .2 would also work fine, happy printing Update 1: added bl touch version, offsets unknown, needs supports for the bl touch bracket, i Used a support enforcer in prusa slicer in just that area, enjoy new version of the ramhorn is up https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4760471/files sorry thingiverse makes me downgrade my photos to 1993 quality
