3d printable vice / vise / clamp (high upgradability)
Description
Sturdy and simple 3d printable vice with reversible jaws and future upgrade parts coming! It prints in place - the supports are built into the model. it needs some hardware to work: • 1x M8x120 bolt - the main part of the vice :) • 1x M8 nut - press it into the slot in the jaw • 1x 28mm washer (2.8mm thick) - press it in the slot in front of the vice - this part protects the knob and lets it spin freely you may want to add: • 16x 28mm washer (2.8mm thick) - for weighting it (glue in the holes on the underside) • 8x M5x(25-50) bolt (for future upgrades as well as clamping irregular objects over the jaws) • 8x M5 nut - for the M5 bolts to screw into - press them into the slots in the jaws of the vice • 6x M5x(+/-50) bolt - for mounting the vice to the table (match the length to the thickness of your table + nut size + 9mm vice thickness) • 6x M5 nuts to secure the vice under the table • 12x M5 washer (13mm max diameter) to protect the vice mounting holes as well as the underside of the table (i didn't have a 120mm M8 bolt so for now i'm using a 60mm one - see the pictures)
