Scion tC (2011-2016) Moonroof / Sunroof Spacer to Prevent Vibration Noise
Description
This will help stop the moonroof bar on 2011-2016 Scion tCs from vibrating when listening to bass heavy music. It simply clips on top of the bar and adds enough tension to it so that it won't make any noise (generally heard from the left and right sides of the moonroof). I highly recommend printing this in PETG at a minimum as it is more tolerant to heat and PLA. TPU will work best. Update ------ • 2021.08.02: Adjusted so that it sits more snugly into place. • 2021.11.22: Increased height by .2mm and added a version for use with flexible filaments. Versions ----------- • The solid version should be used with standard filament such as PETG and the flexible version with filament such as TPU. Installation Notes ------------------ • The spacer clips on so the rounded inside edge is on the front of the bar. • Clip the front side on first, then the back. I made it a tight fit so it doesn't randomly pop off. • I found using two worked best.
