Assortment Boxes
Description
I created the assortment boxes and grids shown by Alexandre Chappel in his DIY YouTube Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VntGnLuwoeY. Alexandre does not provide exact dimension for the project, so my sizing is based on a guesstimate from viewing his video. My dimensions are a 50x50x60 mm square/tall. There is some space between boxes for easy removal, so the 5x5 grid measures 258x258 mm. I have included all options from 1x1 up to 5x5 boxes and an assortment of grids. You can load multiple boxes of various sizes on your print bed if you like. I have also created a couple of multi-compartment boxes. It may be nice for example to have the bolts and nuts that fit together in the same container, but separated by a divider. Grids can be placed next to each other to expand the grid pattern in your drawer. When placed exactly next to each other, the boxes can span from one grid frame to the next. There are 3 sets of files uploaded. Each set contains the same sets of individual files/models. There are the standard STL files for those who just want to print the boxes and frames. There is the original .blend file for those who have Blender and wish to modify the models or add additional models to this project. There are .OBJ files for printing or modeling for those who want to modify the models but do not use Blender. The .OBJ files have simpler geometry that the triangulated mesh found in the .STL files and therefore would be easier to modify.
