Maz's Flower Magic Wand
Description
This is a remix of Maz's Flower: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2782116 Every Halloween, I make lighted props for my kids... so that they stand out in the dark. This is a cool, simple way to make a fairy wand. Feel free to re-use the base - it's all modular, so adding a different top, or even extending the base into a sword should work pretty well. Parts are printed in TPU - it's necessary for the base so that the flexible button will work, and the battery can be retained. For the top, TPU is a GREAT idea because my kids are less than perfect - it may be dropped or used as a bludgeon. I did slice through the petals that were touching, so that I could press the LED string as far down as possible. I used hot glue to secure the LEDs in place. For this one, I needed a lighted flower wand. To make the build easy and robust, I really love these USB-rechargable LED Fairy Lights: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07M5SR687/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://smile.amazon.com/Soltuus-Rechargeable-Lighting-Waterproof-Included/dp/B07BYC7K9F/ref=pd_sim_86_1/135-6764382-4771605?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B07BYC7K9F&pd_rd_r=735e8362-4f48-4eb1-b69a-d9499d337edf&pd_rd_w=YTtAh&pd_rd_wg=5P1ES&pf_rd_p=d338b989-51db-4d99-9bd8-988f67d205eb&pf_rd_r=1XZ529GGHEQ6ZJM4MF7G&psc=1&refRID=1XZ529GGHEQ6ZJM4MF7G I chose the multicolor, for reasons. The shaft here is an 8mm OD by 6mm OD carbon fiber tube - it's not that you need carbon fiber, but it is cheap and available on Amazon... plus I had some leftover from another project.
