Dual Band Dipole Tripod Mount
Description
This is a dual band dipole antenna mount for a standard camera tripod with a 1/4-20 thread. The element holders are printed in two halves and meant to be glued together with the elements inside. The element holder then attaches to and glues onto the mounting bar which screws onto the camera tripod. I have included threads in the model, but these might not be exactly the right size depending on the tolerances of your 3D printer. I had to apply a little bit of force the first time I screwed the mounting bar onto the tripod, but your mileage may vary. The elements on this variant were constructed out of insulated solid core wire, 12 gauge. In my case, I made one set of elements up front for the 70cm amateur radio band, and the other for 2m. I have included the .STEP files exported from Fusion 360. Feel free to make changes to the model as you wish.
