Löbster Headphones

Löbster Headphones

Description

First shot of a simple set of headphones for everyday usage. The point here is to have a super simple piece, that will only need few non-printable essentials parts to be put together. Furthermore, those part must be EXTRA easy to fetch and super cheap. No screws needed to assemble and tear down in case of failure. The ear-pads are adjustable in height. The first prototype was printed with an Ender 3, quality is ok, but can be much better I guess, maybe with an SLA printer. The Ear pad holdind system are just hooks and loops. Stick one side (loops are softers) one the PAD_TOP parts and the hooks to the foam pad you made. Improvement leads : - Will come in 3 versions : Light, Pro and BLuetooth. In the Light version, I will trade the 2 top jacks plugs on ear-pads for simple holes to reduce cost and improve reliability for every day life. The pro will keep the all-connectors features. And the bluetooth well... - Make an "headband binder" to give a closer angle to the ear-pads, resulting in a better head fitting, and a tighter hold. At the moment, it is NOT tight enough, fine but not enough. - change the stereo mini jack reference (and the hole for it). WIP : still waiting for the tranducers to arrive, and have a fist shot of the sound quality. V2 : - add a li-on battery and bluetooth 5.0 aptx receiver. - Improve sound quality I guess... The non printable extra parts required are : - [0,20€ to 2€] 2x 5mm witdh headband (usually used for jewellery crafting). - [5€ to 15€] a pair of transducers/headphones speaker. 30mm Overall Diameter. ( Once i've tested the one I ordered i'll put the link, but got to try them first). - 1€, Stereo Lumberg mini Jack maybe not the smartest choice since the part is not easy to find.
