Fully Customizable General Purpose Handles
Description
Here we have some fully customizable general purpose handles. There are two variants: one with a single screw fixing point and one with dual screw fixing points. We really like [guppyk's](https://www.thingiverse.com/guppyk/) [Handle - All Purpose, Four Sizes](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4619895), but we needed something slightly different. Rather than modify guppyk's model, we chose to create a similar design in OpenSCAD that is fully customizable. This design is **_completely free_** and shared under a permissive license. Versions -------- ### Single Point Variant * 1.1 (1 Dec 2020) - Improvements for Thingiverse Customizer * 1.0 (4 Nov 2020) - Initial version ### Dual Point Variant * 1.1 (1 Dec 2020) - Improvements for Thingiverse Customizer * 1.0 (4 Nov 2020) - Initial version Printing -------- Recommended slicer settings: * Resolution: 0.1mm - 0.2mm * Infill: ~50% for soft filaments, such as PLA (could probably be lower for tougher filaments, such as ABS) * Supports: Doesn't Matter * Rafts: Doesn't Matter For round single point handles, you may wish to consider randomising the start position of each layer to avoid a Z seam. In Cura this option is called `Z Seam Alignment`. For small single point handles, you may need a print with a brim.
