Apollonian Fractal Penholder
Description
Hi, here is a different type of Penholder. This is one inspired by the Apollonian fractal. Mathematically it is not completely true to the fractal. BUT, If you look from the top View (see picture of the sketch), you can see the Intersection of three equal and tangent circles. Within this space you try fit the next circle, tangent and as big as possible. You repeat this process several times to get this fractal. The Greek Mathematician Apollo created this thought experiment, by wondering how dens any packing of spheres/ circles can get. If someone of you is into Binder Jetting this is a huge concern in 3D printing with powders. You need to get the highest packing density you can. Powders in Binder Jetting are developed for certain particle (sphere) size distribution to create the desired flowability of a given powder. Feel free to leave me some feedback and please psot your prints.
