DIY portable DC/DC step-up power supply (with XL6009)
Description
I made a portable variable power supply, based on the DC/DC step-up converter XL6009 board. # Features - 3-30V input step-up to 3-30V 5A output - Input can come from DC power jack or XT60 connector - Output comes out DC power jack ## Protections - 5A fuse on input and output - reversed polarity protection diode on output - protection diode on positive pin of XT60 connector (to prevent battery from being charged with wrong voltage by DC power jack) ### NEVER plug both DC jack and XT60 connector at the same time # Components used - 1 * XL6009 DC/DC converter board - 1 * 10k potentiometer (multiturn in my case to get precise voltage adjustment) - 2 * 5A fuse - 2 * 5/10A diodes - 2 * 5.5 mm DC female jack - 1 * XT60 female connector
