30mm Watercooling Radiator (Proof of Concept)

30mm Watercooling Radiator (Proof of Concept)

Description

An experiment in the properties of 3D printing resin, in the form of a watercooling radiator with a small internal reservoir, designed to fit a 30MM computer fan. A cutaway model has also been provided so you can observe the fluid paths. The radiator has also been filled with red food coloring to, again, show the internal fluid path. It probably won't actually work as a radiator, but... I primarily designed this as an experiment to research: -Designing internal fluid paths -How pipe threads work in resin (This aspect failed in a previous prototype and was just replaced with built-in barb fittings) -If resin can indefinitely handle water, or even handle compressed air or steam -How much pressure and temperature resin will take -If resin it can actually transfer heat effectively AT ALL Any many other aspects and properties. Keep in mind. I'm NOT intending on using this as an actual cooling system component, and NEITHER SHOULD YOU. I'm not responsible for how you decide to use this thing. It's merely a proof of concept, and a test part for discovering and studying the properties of 3D printing resin for future practical uses.
