Creativity ELF / Coreception 300 Hot-End Cable Chain
Description
Just a simple, easy to print and easy to install method of cable management for the hot-end of the Creativity ELF, Sainsmart Corception 300, and the Koonovo ELF 3D printers. Please click on the "Like" button up there on the right !! Thanks !! Notes: You will need to print 20 pcs of "Open Bottom" and 20 pcs of "Open Top" (2 sets of 6 and 2 sets of 4) so you have 19 links of each (that's how many I used) "Cable Chain Frame Mount" is secured to the top of the 2020 frame on the front right side using 2 x M5 or 2 x M4 screws with matching T-Nuts. Chains are snapped into place by reversing top and bottom around the cable, this way there are no zip-ties needed, and it's a lot easier to place the cable inside without having to disconnect either end so it can be fed through the usual way. You can identify the difference between "Open Top" and "Open Bottom" by looking inside each chain link. All "Open Top" chains have sharp corners inside, and all "Open Bottom" chains have rounded corners inside Better if you print in PETG or ABS for strength due to the heavy cable that this chain covers. Printing in PLA will cause a sag in the chain over time as the chains wear. Enjoy !! EDIT Feb 28th 2021 - Added new "Cable Chain Hot-End Mount (ELF Logo)" for anyone that wants the ELF Logo included. EDIT April 10th 2021 - For any perfectionists like myself, due to the heavy weight of the cable, there will be some sag in this chain over time that can't be avoided (nothing that will cause any problems unless you are anal like I am about absolutely ZERO sag in a cable chain). So if you want this to be perfectly straight you will need to remove the outer insulation from the cable, or rewire from the main board to the hot-end board, or ignore this chain all together.
