Bird's Eye Camera Mount
Description
I added a second camera to one of my printers and wanted it up high. You will need 3 24xM4 screws and 3 nuts. Grab the longest beam you can print diagonally. You will need the mount and the swivel as well. The Mount mounts on top of the top extrusion. The end of the beam has two holes for different alignments/attachments. I use the Amazon $12.99 specials and apparently they don't rotate. They have a decent picture though, fine enough for monitoring prints. The beam flips up and rotates side to side. I might add servos, or someone else can. Use 15-20% infill on the beam with lots (3-4) shells. The idea is to get the beam mostly hollow but the end tabs, where the M4 passes through, solid. I printed mine with a .8mm nozzle at .48 layer height and 40mm/sec. Anything will work, though, as long as you don't print the beam with a high infill percentage. It is a waste of filament and makes it heavier. I guess you could use 100% if you really want. :) Use 100% infill for the swivel and mount.
