Mason Jar Disk Hygrometer Lid - Humidor
Description
This is a Mason/Ball jar lid insert with mount for cheap disk hygrometers readily available le on Amazon. While the model will secure the hygrometer with a loose twist lock, it is not designed to be a tight fit. My recommendation is to use a thick, gel-like adhesive to mount the hygrometer and make a more air-tight seal. This design meets my needs, but further enhancements could be: create a recess on outer lip to better seat lid to jar opening, improvements to the locking mechanism, including the incorporation of an o-ring to eliminate the need for glue.
