Creality CR6 CR-6 SE Cable AND PTFE Support (and camera mount)
Description
This is not really a remix, I just added a couple of bits onto the already excellent design. I modified the cover that clips onto the x-axis stepper motor by adding the camera mount from my thing here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4654989 (you will need to go to there if you want all the extension brackets etc and the part that mounts to the camera. If you don't want the x-axis cover with a camera mount on it - just download the original from the thing this is remixed from. I also modified the mount that clips above the hot-end to include a ring for the PTFE tube to keep it completely upright. I have found that this results in much more accurate bed levelling and easier feeding of filament into the hot-end. You WILL need supports turned on when printing the hot-end mount - but they are not needed in the section that clips around the cable (my slicer wanted to put some in there) - you just need them inside my ring and the long overhand that slides over the metal plate. UPDATE: I have been running this for months now; there have been absolutely no problems and my auto-levelling has been perfect. UPDATE 2: I cleaned up and tweaked the original model a bit and reuploaded as I was never really all that happy with the look of how I blended the ring into the existing part. UPDATE 3: I was inspired by sparkss's remix of this to make a couple of versions of the PTFE guide ring that was stronger and taller. You can see an image of the three different rings compared. The taller ones don't have quite as extreme chamfer as the original, but seeing as the mount is at least twice as tall now - it should be strong enough. UPDATE 4: I added an open version and also an open version one with a hole if you wanted to add a cable tie to it. It is 3.2mm at the narrowest part. I've got no interest in printing this version, so if anyone does, please let me know if it works!
