Another Kloonituubi stock-remix
Description
This was inspired by another klooni tuubi remix by Knoose: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3119243 I like the design and saw no reason to change the controller adapter cups, they work well enough. I thought the original Klooni Tuubi stock looked a little flimsy, but Knoose's stock seemed too heavy. Also I didn't have the hex-head screws on hand, but I did have some spring-washers and large 25mm washers and wing-nuts. So I've designed my own stock brace and hinge joints to match. I feel these hinges are stronger and more "clicky". Perhaps due to a slightly different design with smoothed out edges, or due to using PETG, these hinges seem rock solid and don't rotate or crack. My hinges aren't compatible with other versions. This stock is made from 2 pieces and assembled together using 11x M2.5 screws and nuts. I'm also uploading a version of the stock that isn't spit into halves, in case someone wants to print it in one piece. Splitting the stock in halves made it easier to print without messing up the surface with supports. However, this became the most intricate print I've ever done. I got a successful result only with PLA. My three attempts to print the stock in PETG failed due to the amount of tiny intricate details produced by the slicer. Hinges were easy enough to print with PETG. For each pipe-to-pipe hinge joint you'll print a "male" and "female" pipe connector. For the pipe-to-stock joint, you need a pipe connector with "male" side of the joint. The stock has the "female" side built-in. Attach the joint parts to the ends of two 12mm pipes. Each connector requires: * 1x M5 25mm screw * 1x M5 10mm washer * 1x M5 nut Due to springiness of the connector, you don't need spring washers or lock nuts. Assemble each hinge joint using: * 2x M5 25mm washers (flat against the outside surface on each side) * 2x M5 spring washers (against the flat washer on each side) * 1x M5 40mm screw (all the way through) * 1x M5 10mm washer (between spring washer and nut) * 1x M5 wing-nut (or a regular M5 nut with some printed knob) I used metal wing-nuts and a couple of knobs that I had lying around that fit the M5 nut, I think it was from this thing: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4190514/files
