Modular Wahoo Board and Case
Description
This is a remix of a remix, but, the Remix Search is still broken on Thingiverse. I made a new version of my modular Wahoo Board Set based on [Samurai57's](https://www.thingiverse.com/Samurai57) [modular gameboard design](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4169703). This is a remix of my previous models: [Modular Wahoo Board Remix](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4207631) [Modular Wahoo Board Remix Case](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4302373) In this new version, I have opted for a singular base with holes for inserts for the "home" space to be swapped between the traditional placement and my own family's house rules location at the base of the "safe" area. I also cut down some extra space from the board and made the "safe" and "starting" areas more pronounced from the rest of the playable space. This Thing is going to house all the pieces for both the game and the associated carrying case, if wanted. Thing file list: Modular Wahoo Board Panel v2 - This is the new board panel that I described before. It is recommended to plug one hole with a matching colored Modular Wahoo Board Normal Insert v2 and the other with a different colored Modular Wahoo Board Special Insert v2. Print 4-???. Since this is modular, you can have as many panels as you want. The gameplay may go exponentially longer with every player and panel added though. Be warned. We have moved to more of a bracket tournament style for my household and that works out pretty well. Modular Wahoo Board Straight Connector v2 - This is the same connector as before, but, with a hole in it for a different colored insert to signify the space in which you can enter or exit the "shortcut" space. It is recommended to use a Modular Wahoo Board Special Insert v2 in these pieces. Print 1 for each Modular Wahoo Board Panel v2. Modular Wahoo Board Angled Connector v2 - This is the same connector as before, but, with a hole in it for a different colored insert to signify the space in which you can enter or exit the "shortcut" space. It is recommended to use a Modular Wahoo Board Tall Connector Insert v2 in these pieces. Print 1 for each Modular Wahoo Board Panel v2, if desired. Modular Wahoo Board Shortcut v2 - This is the middle shortcut piece that I put a hole in to allow for a different colored filament to make up the center. It is recommended to use either a Modular Wahoo Board Shortcut Star Insert v2 or Modular Wahoo Board Special Insert v2 to fill this piece. Print 1 per game. Modular Wahoo Board Shortcut Star Insert v2 - This is a special insert that I made specifically for Modular Wahoo Board Shortcut v2 that went with a Dallas Cowboys theme for a relative. Print 1 per game, if desired. Modular Wahoo Board Normal Insert v2 - This is an insert that is made to mimic the rest of the marble holders on the board and is meant to be printed in the same color PLA as the Modular Wahoo Board Panel v2 to plug whichever hole you don't denote as your "home" starting location. Print 1 per Modular Wahoo Board Panel v2. Modular Wahoo Board Special Insert v2 - This is the insert you would use in the straight connectors and your "home" starting location to signify that those are special game spaces. I would print these in a different color than your Modular Wahoo Board Panel v2 and Modular Wahoo Board Straight Connector v2 pieces. Print 1 per Modular Wahoo Board Panel v2, Modular Wahoo Board Straight Connector v2, and Modular Wahoo Board Shortcut v2(unless using the Modular Wahoo Board Shortcut Star Insert v2). Modular Wahoo Board Tall Connector Insert v2 - This is a taller insert that is meant to give some stability to the Modular Wahoo Board Angled Connector v2 pieces if you so choose to use them. It can also be used for the Modular Wahoo Board Straight Connector v2 pieces, though it is not necessary. Print 1 per Modular Wahoo Board Angled Connector v2, if desired. Modular Wahoo Board Case Body v2 - Newly designed case body with some design enhancements over the v1 and v1.1 Case bodies from the previous release. This case is still configured to hold 6 game panels. Print 1, if desired. Modular Wahoo Board Case Lid v2 - Same design, different dimensions. Print 1, if desired. Modular Wahoo Board Case Bin v2 - These are no longer rectangular in shape for the holes in the Modular Wahoo Board Case Body v2 and can now go in however the user places them in the respective holes. Print 2, if desired. Last, but, not least, here are some basic rules for the uninitiated: http://wahoogame.blogspot.com/2012/12/the-rules-wahoo-1.html You can also have house rules, as my family obviously does with our "starting" space being shifted 2 spaces to the right. We also have a fun rule where you if you are on your very last marble to get "safe" and you roll three 6's, but, can't move, that marble gets sent back to your "starting" area and must get out and go around again.
