Prusa MK3S tool box

Prusa MK3S tool box

Description

This tool holder was designed to fit on the right hand frame of a Prusa MK3S printer, resting on the top of the black power supply. It holds all of the tools that I use on a regular basis in one place, keeping things nice and neat while at the same time allowing easy access to each tool. This is a modification of the original design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4610592) and corrects a few problems I found: 1: The original tweezer holders were a bit of an issue since the tweezers never seemed to lay down flat, and also were a bit difficult to pick up. They now have dedicated hangers on the side of the box and are much easier to remove and put back. 2: The attachment clamps have been modified to be much sturdier as well as making it much easier to attach the tool box to the Prusa frame. It’s a very tight fit, but by first hooking the ‘L’ shaped bracket over the Prusa frame, the rounded end of the other clip will snap on to the other side of the frame and hold the tool box tight. The clips are much sturdier, but they are plastic, so attach the tool box carefully. Many thanks to Bob for pointing out these tools (http://projects.ttlexceeded.com/3dprinting_tools.html); they all have come in very handy. A list of the ones the toolbox was designed for: 1.
