Description
- this is a very simple cycloidal gearbox for nema 17 steppers with a gear ratio of 15:1 - for motors with 5 mm D-type shaft - gearbox dimensions: diameter 65 mm, length 40 mm --- - everything is 3d-printed except 4 screws M3x25 / 4 screws M3x30 and 8 nuts M3 - nearly no post processing on the 3d-printed parts needed - lubrication is strongly recommended --- - tested with a stepper 17HS4417P1 with input torque 24 Ncm @ 500 r/min --> output torque is short of 75 Ncm - resulting efficiency is about 20%, losses seem mainly due to sliding bearings - nevertheless, play&noise is very low and the gearbox is (unsurprisingly) self-locking --- - next variants will be more elaborate, with ball-bearings etc. - also variants with a higher gear ratio may be considered - feel free to give your opinons & questions --- - all parts were printed with a 0.4 nozzle - for all gears and bearing parts, the resolution should be 0.1 and infill 100% - motor flange and cantilever can be printed at 0.4 resolution and with 25%-50% infill --- parts to print: - Abtrieb_Adapter 1x - Bolzenring 1x - Bolzenring-Deckel 2x - Exzenter 1x - Kurvenscheibe 2x - Motorflansch_Aussen 1x - Rollenscheibe 2x - Rollenscheibe_Rolle 4x
