E3D V6 AIO CPAP shroud

E3D V6 AIO CPAP shroud

Description

This is a (authorized) upload of a good all in one heatsink and part cooler. The catch here is like one of my other things, is that the hot air from the heatsink is warming up the printed filament. I have tested this personally on PETG, however I imagine anything that doesnt require part cooling will benefit from heated air. I will be remixing it to suit some common mounts like Mediaman's minimalistic V6 mount. This shroud is for people who have enclosed and/or heated chambers for more exotic filaments. CPAP housing is standard 22mm cuff on a 18mm hose. I find them for $5 a pair local at a Medical supplier. I recommend nothing less than a 7530 radial fan with a hefty adaptor shroud so there is less restriction from the get go. If you need a 7530 adaptor let me know. I have a file somewhere I made on a whim but ended up working like a champ. Note on the fan. I would choose one that either is matched with the voltage your printer relies on, or supply your own buck or boost converter to wire in line with the fan. This is so you can still control the fan speed to suit what you are printing and what part of it(bridges, etc). ***Original files and designer can be found here. https://www.youmagine.com/designs/e3d-heatsink-and-project-cooling-using-a-cpap-hose-and-or-machine***
