X Axis Level for CR10 CR10S Creality and Other printers

X Axis Level for CR10 CR10S Creality and Other printers

Description

The height of this part is 104mm once inserted into the extrusion and it is 8mm thick. I advise a 50 percent or higher infill as you may be putting some weight on it when you bring you "X" Axis down upon on it. I can upload taller versions if you leave a comment requesting one. You should verify that this height would work for you before printing / using this to level your x axis to prevent a potential hot end crash into your bed. Anyone who owns a Creality or any other 3d printer had to at some point level their "X" Axis rail. For Creality and I'm sure other 3d printers you usually level the "X" Axis rail to the frame of the printer and not the bed. I created these leveling helpers for my cr10s printer. My printer as well as many other printers use 4020 aluminum extrusions for the base of the printer. I designed these helpers so that they would fit snugly inside the two openings on the 4020 base so they don't move unless i tug at them. If you print these you will have to apply just a little bit of force to get them to slide into the two openings on the 4020 base extrusion. All i have to do now is line them up with the "X" axis rail and bring it down on the "Z" Axis to level it perfectly every time. Hope this saves someone time in the leveling process. Cheers.
